What vehicles do you accept?
We'll take almost any vehicle, of any age in any condition. This includes cars, vans, utes, 4WDs, trucks and even buses. Whether it's rusty, water-damaged, crashed, unregistered, unwarranted, or undriveable - we'll take it. We also accept vehicles in good running order if you want to get rid of them.
What areas do you service?
We're based in Hawkes Bay and service the entire region including Napier and Hastings. If you're anywhere in the area, we can help you out. Not sure if we cover your location? Just give us a call to confirm.
What paperwork do I need?
You'll need current photo ID (passport, driver's license, birth certificate, 18+ card, or other legal identification) to verify ownership. You'll also need to sign a Buy and Sell agreement, and we'll provide a receipt showing the transfer and payment. For working vehicles with plates, you'll need to complete a vehicle disposal form (MR13A) listing us as the new owner.
Do I need the keys?
It's easier if you have the keys, but if you've lost them, we can still help. You'll just need to provide proof of ownership or allow us to check ownership records before towing.
How will I get paid?
We offer flexible payment options - cash, cheque, or bank transfer. Whatever you prefer, we'll pay you on the day of removal. If you've sent ownership documents ahead of time, we can process payment via cheque or bank transfer without you being present.
Do you sell spare parts?
Yes! We have a huge range of affordable second-hand parts for all types of vehicles. We strip useable parts from collected vehicles and recondition them for sale - including wheels, tyres, panels, doors, engines, gearboxes, cambelts, and more. All parts are in great second-hand condition, ensuring functionality and reliability.
What happens to my vehicle?
After collection, we take your vehicle to our yard where we dismantle it, strip out useable parts, and remove all oils and fluids. For running vehicles, we try to get them back on the road. We're committed to environmental responsibility - recycling and reselling what we can, properly disposing of hazardous materials, and minimizing landfill waste.
Do I need to be present for removal?
Not necessarily. If you've provided ownership and transfer documents beforehand, we can tow your vehicle and process payment without you being there. However, if we need to verify ownership, you'll need to be present to handle the paperwork.
Can I bring my car to you?
Absolutely! If you prefer to bring your vehicle to our yard, just contact us first. We'll provide an estimated price and arrange a convenient time for you to come in. We'll pay you for your vehicle when you arrive.
What about registration?
We'll help you through the process. Typically, we remove the license plates during towing for you to cancel registration at VTNZ, VINZ, or AA. If your registration has expired, you may need to pay the difference. If you have remaining registration time, you can claim a refund from NZTA.
